At VDCI, we believe every student should have the appropriate guidance and resources to be successful in their academic and career goals. Below you will find information to help you.

Our doors are always open to counsel you on your professional direction.


  • Academic Advising & Counseling

    Academic Support – VDCI is committed to provide many resources to our students, to help you succeed and advance in your academic and professional career.

    Certificate Program & Academic Advising – Our team of academic advisors is available to help you find the right path in your long-term, short-term professional and educational goals. Appointments are available Tuesdays through Thursdays between 10 am and 3 pm. To schedule an appointment with an advisor, please click here.

    Academic Counseling & Tutoring – If you need assistance with a particular course or project, we recommend that you schedule an appointment with your instructor or your course Teacher Assistant (TA). If you need more hands-on guidance from your instructor, you may schedule a tutoring session. The instructors are available for on-on-one tutoring on Tuesdays and Thursdays only. There is an additional charge for this one-on-one tutoring. There is a minimum of two hours for these sessions.   • Careers & Networking

    Aligned with our school’s mission and objectives, VDCI does our best to offer you networking and job opportunity connections to help you jump-start your career in the construction industry.

    We strongly encourage you to participate in our VDCI Student Lounge and to join our VDCI LinkedIn School Page. They are both terrific vehicles to keep you engaged with your classmates, introduce yourself to VDCI alumni and learn about professional opportunities throughout North America.

  • Career Support

    Career Advancement Advisor – Do you need help figuring out your career path? Schedule an appointment with one of our career advisors. They will assess your educational and professional background, and will carefully to provide you with the best routes you could take.

    Drop-ins are welcome Mondays through Thursdays between 11 am and 1 pm.
