Take four Revit Architecture courses which start at the very beginning and learn to model and document real-world, project-based sets of construction documents for commercial building projects. Take the Autodesk Revit Architecture Professional Certification Exam Test-Prep course – and then you will have two attempts to take the Revit Professional Certification Exam.

The courses listed below are included in this training bundle. Each course will be scheduled one at a time in the sequence listed. Each course will be scheduled immediately after one another, unless requested otherwise.
Introduction to Blueprint Reading (4 Clock Hours) – Utilizes lectures, hands-on demonstrations and lab exercises to familiarize participants with the art of blueprint reading.
Demonstrate an understanding of the inter-relationship between the drawings included in a set of Construction Documents (blueprints) for a Custom Residential and a Mixed-Use Commercial project. Analyze different drawings and see how information is referenced throughout a set of Construction Documents. Evaluate the similarities between all sets of construction documents submitted for building permits. Recognize the need for consistency in presenting information in all types of Construction Documents.
Intermediate Blueprint Reading (6 Clock Hours) - An indepth study of architectural, civil, engineering, interior and other construction documents for a mixed-use commercial project.
Demonstrate an understanding of the inter-relationship between the drawings included in a set of commercial project Construction Documents (blueprints) for a large Mixed-Use project (hotel, parking and retail). Analyze different drawings and see how information is referenced throughout a set of Construction Documents. Evaluate the similarities between all sets of construction documents submitted for building permits. Recognize the need for consistency in presenting information in all types of Construction Documents. Gain experience understanding how 3D model presentations within a set of construction documents makes the construction documents easier to understand the project.
Introduction to Revit (20 Clock Hours) – Designing 3D models that simultaneously document the project in schedules and 2D architectural drawings.
Explore the Building Information Modeling (BIM) interface. Design a 3D building model to explain how information is inter-related throughout the BIM model. Integrate building components into a 3D model and develop construction document sheets from that model. Develop a project which includes stairs and “feature architectural designs” to strengthen BIM modeling skill sets.
Intermediate Revit (20 Clock Hours) – Utilizing the family editor to create 2D and 3D components, refining graphics, and construction documentation.
Integrate DWG files to create Revit details and plan views for subsequent sheet layout. Tag elements for cost estimation and material take-offs. Create 3D parametric families and show alternate views of 3D objects in plan and elevation views. Build customized door, window, and materials schedules. Explore BIM management by creating an abbreviated set of construction documents.
BIM Construction Documents 1 (20 Clock Hours) – Modeling an existing single story building on a site model and adding a second story expansion.
Apply BIM modeling tools to create an architectural model, including existing building, partial demolition and a new construction. Build topography for a project using existing external files and develop a site plan, including hardscape and landscaping. Graphically differentiate phasing of a project from existing construction through new construction. Produce renderings suitable for presentation and documentation.
BIM Construction Documents 2 (20 Clock Hours) – Developing a full set of Architectural Construction Documents using Revit.
Prepare a set of architectural construction documents incorporating the site and building models created in BIM 301. Develop progress sets of construction documents, reflecting 30/60/90/100 percent deliverable submittals. Produce plan, section, and elevation views of the project for sheet layout. Keynote elements of the project model. Develop schedules and a limited number of architectural details extracted from the BIM model.
Certification Test Prep - Recommended - (4 Clock Hours) - Seminar review "Test Prep" course for the Autodesk Revit Certification Exam.
Demonstrate proficiency manipulating model information. Validate your skills and knowledge of Revit. Advance your competitive edge and reputation, and achieve an accepted credential which can advance your career. Compare the functionality of different commands by using alternate interface methods.
