In this Revit course, using the Revit Architecture tools, you learn how information is inter-related throughout the BIM model. You will design 3D building models that simultaneously document the project in schedules and in 2D construction document sheets from that model.
In this course, using the Revit Architecture tools, you will explore the more advanced methods of documenting a building project. Architects, interior designers and engineers can gain valuable insight. Topics include scheduling building components, using the family editor to create 2D and 3D components, refining graphics, and construction documentation.
This course if the first of two Construction Document courses, using the Revit Architecture tools. You will model an existing single story commercial building on a site model and will then create the model for a significant two-story expansion to that building model. This project scenario is typical of projects currently being handled by AEC teams who use Revit in their offices.
Using the Revit Architecture tools, you will develop a progress 30/60/90/100 percent deliverable set of Architectural Construction Documents for the commercial building and site which was created in BIM 301. You will create plans, elevations and sections of the project and will also keynote elements of the model and develop detail drawings and schedules.
This class is designed for architects, interior designers, engineers, and others involved in the construction industry looking to hone their detailing skills in Revit. As you go through the lessons within this class, we will develop a series of architectural details for the commercial building which was modeled in BIM 301 and 302 – BIM Construction Documents.
In this course, you will learn how to use the Revit tools to collaborate with other team members, streamline workflow, and manage a BIM Project to fulfill the expectations of all team members. We will discuss managing people, implementing of scope, accomplishing tasks yourself, designating tasks, organizational reporting structures and many appropriate project management skills.
This the first of two courses using the Revit MEP tools. Using a project based setting, we will design and model HVAC, plumbing, piping and electrical systems. This course will focus on creating a 3D model of the MEP systems, and applying workflow strategies for the efficient use of Revit MEP.
In this second course using the Revit MEP tools, you will focus on creating a set of MEP construction documents using the project modeled in BIM 321. The set of construction documents created will include annotations, notes and schedules necessary to finish deliverable drawings, extracting them from the Revit model.
This course uses the Revit Structure tools to create an accurate structural model of a real-world, four-story commercial project. You will develop a structural project from the very beginning and see its completion through all aspects of BIM modeling. You will gain an understanding of real-world practices for the effective integration of an interactive project with other disciplines.
You will continue the structural project started in BIM 341 using the Revit Structural tools. This course teaches you how to update the Revit model elements, add annotations, set up detail sheets, create framing elevations and to create a completed set of structural construction documents for this four-story commercial project.
This is a seminar review course for the Revit Certification Exam. No answers to the Certification Exam are provided, just valuable overview concepts of the types of questions which will be presented in the exam, the format for the questions and the methodology/logic behind the kinds of questions covered in the exam.
