The Al Whitley Memorial Scholarship was created in honor of Al Whitley, the founder of Virtual Design & Construction Institute. This scholarship was established to continue Al's vision for VDCI and the improvement of AEC (Architecture, Engineering and Construction) training in San Diego, California.

WIOA Funding - from the U.S. Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act
VDCI supports in-state Career Centers, OneStops and other organizations approved to provide deserved access to funding through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). VDCI is approved and also supports the Department of Rehabilitation (DOR), Workers Compensation insurance benefits, and other various state and federal programs.
These programs are partially funded by WIOA. These WIOA Title I – funded programs or activities are an equal opportunity program. Auxiliary aids and services are available upon requests to individuals with disabilities
