He has been teaching Autodesk programs for over 10 years and enjoys working and teaching in the architectural industry. In addition to working with the Autodesk suite, he has significant experience in 3D modeling, the Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp. David enjoys spending his free time with his wife biking, playing ultimate Frisbee, and listening to audiobooks by the fire.

Student Services Manager
Gina enjoys contributing to a team that empowers people to pursue their career education passions - regardless of their current stage in life. Whether she is directly engaging with a student or setting up a framework behind the scenes, her mind is geared towards innovation and efficiency. In her off-time, Gina paints beautiful still-life acrylics, blogs about creative experiences she enjoys for fun in San Diego, and she enjoys singing karaoke with her friends. She is known to do an outstanding rendition of Beyonce's version of "Spirit," from the Lion King.

Franklin Ebalida, BA
Program Coordinator
Franklin has a strong background in higher education administration. He has worked in post-secondary education for five years where he cultivated knowledge and experience from admissions, enrollment operations, and executive-level support administration. He was born in the Philippines and was raised in San Diego. He is a cow enthusiast and loves to play and coach volleyball. Other hobbies, he loves are League of Legends and obtaining software certifications.

Daria Ghasemi, BA
Student Services Coordinator
Daria graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelor's degree in Business Management and a minor in Public Relations. She is a part of the Student Services Team, assisting in communication with students. Daria enjoys learning new things and being a part of a team. She is always looking forward to helping others. She has previous experience in administrative and marketing positions. Some of her favorite ways to spend her free time include going to the beach, reading, playing volleyball, and listening to music.

Kimberly Savo, BA
Admissions Coordinator
Kimberly is part of the Student Services Team at VDCI and is responsible for assisting prospective students choose the best training path based on their needs. She loves hearing about people’s goals and helping them achieve them. She works closely with the rest of the Student Services Team to ensure the best experience for every student. Kimberly was born and raised in Bristol Bay, Alaska before moving to San Diego to pursue a bachelor’s degree in education. She also has an associate’s degree in liberal arts and is a 200 hour certified yoga instructor. She enjoys spending time with family, reading, hiking and roller skating.

Ashley Woodward, AA
Administrative Manager | Marketing Manager
Ashley comes from a tech start-up background with experience in management, finance, advertising, customer service and project management. She has worked multiple roles at VDCI, including Program Coordinator, and Program Manager while assisting with marketing efforts, general operations and HR. Currently, she works with the CEO and the Student Services Team to monitor compliance, student finance, and marketing efforts. In her free time she enjoys going on camping trips and creating art through graphic design and animations using the Adobe Suite.

John Menvielle, BA
Multimedia Specialist
John earned his BA in Visual Arts from UC San Diego. He received Provost Honors for three years from the University, and is a member of the National Honor Society, Phi Sigma Theta. Exceptionally talented, John is always updating the VDCI instructional vids to provide our students the best possible user experience for learning. When John is not geeking out with his amazing audio and video tools, you can find him hiking and camping in the local Laguna Mountains, or biking on the scenic routes to and from Torrey Pines to Downtown.

Founder & Former CEO
Al was the Founder and CEO of VDCI | cadteacher for over 20 years. Al passed away in August of 2020. Al's vision was for the advancement and employment of aspiring young professionals in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industries.
